Converting PNG images to a PDF
PNG is the usual format for screenshots, diagrams and graphics because it is lossless and supports transparency. A PDF is often the format you actually have to send. When you turn a PNG into a PDF here, the image data is embedded as it is, with no recompression, so text in a screenshot stays crisp at any zoom the original resolution allows.
Transparency is handled in the way PDF pages work. A page is white, so any transparent or semi-transparent part of a PNG shows the white of the paper behind it, the same as it would when printed. If you need a coloured or dark background, add it to the PNG first. This makes the tool a quick way to convert a screenshot to PDF for an email, a ticket, or a document that only accepts PDF.
Choose the page that suits the job. Fit to image keeps every screenshot at its full size on a page of the same shape, which avoids shrinking a tall capture onto an A4 sheet. A4 and US Letter place each image in the centre of a standard page, scaled down to fit inside the margins you choose and never stretched. The orientation can follow each picture, so landscape screenshots and portrait ones can sit in the same file.
The PDF is created inside your browser by a library that runs locally. Your images are not uploaded, nothing is stored, and there is no page limit or watermark. Other formats are accepted too, so a mixed set of PNG and JPG files can go into the same document.

Frequently asked questions
Does the PDF keep PNG transparency?
+
Transparent areas stay transparent in the file, and since a PDF page is white they look white. Add a background to the PNG first if you want another colour.
Can I merge several PNG files into one PDF?
+
Yes. Add them all, drag them into the order you want, and each becomes one page of the same PDF.
Is the image quality reduced?
+
No. PNG data is embedded losslessly, so the picture is not recompressed or blurred.
Can I mix PNG and JPG images?
+
Yes. JPG, WebP and GIF images can be added alongside PNG files, and each is placed on its own page.
Is this PNG to PDF converter free and private?
+
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no upload. The PDF is made in your browser.
