About ToolDash

ToolDash is a set of small, fast developer tools that do their work inside your browser instead of on someone else's server.

Most of us have pasted a JWT, a customer export or a production config into a random online formatter and felt a little uneasy about it. You don't know where that text goes, how long it's kept, or who can read the logs. ToolDash exists so you don't have to make that trade-off for routine tasks.

How it works

Every tool on the site is plain client-side code. When you format JSON, compress an image or generate a secret key, the work happens in your browser tab using standard web APIs like the JSON parser, the Canvas API and the Web Crypto API. Your input is never sent to us, which also means there are no upload limits and no waiting in a queue.

What you'll find here

There are currently 58 tools across formatting, conversion, encoding, generation and image processing — from the JSON Formatter and JWT Decoder to the Secret Key Generator and Image Compressor. Browse them all on the tools page.

Our principles

  • Private by default. Tools process data locally. Nothing you paste or drop is uploaded, except the subtitle text you choose to send to the AI Subtitle Translator.
  • Free, with no account. Open a tool and use it. There's nothing to sign up for.
  • Honest output. Tools explain what they're doing — for example, why a PNG gets converted to WebP when you ask for real compression.
  • Secure randomness. Passwords, keys and UUIDs come from the browser's cryptographically secure random number generator, never Math.random.

Feedback

We add new tools regularly based on what developers ask for. If a tool is missing or something doesn't work the way you expect, we'd like to hear about it.
